The World of Friendly Pumpkin Families

Halloween is one of the most exciting times of the year, filled with playful decorations, friendly spirits, and charming seasonal traditions. Pronounced PUMP-kin, these wonderful round orange squashes are famous for bringing warmth and cheer to October celebrations. Three fun words to practice together include:

• Pumpkin (a large, round orange fruit with a thick rind and sweet flesh)
• Family (a group of related individuals sharing love and companionship)
• Leaf (a flat, green or colorful structure attached to a tree or plant)
