Privacy Policy

DoodleHive  •  Last updated: August 29, 2026

DoodleHive (“DoodleHive,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website located at https://doodlehive.com/ (the “Site”), which offers free printable coloring pages and related craft and educational resources. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices and rights available to visitors of our Site.

Our Site is designed to be enjoyed by a broad audience — including children, parents, teachers, and general adult visitors looking for free printables for themselves, their classrooms, or their families. Because the Site is intended for this mixed audience rather than exclusively for children, please read Section 8 (“Children’s Privacy”) carefully, as it explains how we approach information collection and advertising with that mixed audience in mind.

By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through the Site. It does not apply to information collected offline, through third-party websites we link to, or through third-party services (such as Amazon, YouTube, or social media platforms) that operate under their own privacy policies.

2. Information We Collect

a. Information You Provide Directly

DoodleHive does not require visitors to create an account, register, or provide any personal information to browse, download, or print any coloring page on the Site.

The only place we knowingly collect personal information directly from a visitor is our Contact page. If you voluntarily submit a message through that page, we receive the email address and any other information you choose to include in your message (such as your name or the content of your inquiry). We use this information solely to read and respond to your message.

b. Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, DoodleHive automatically collects certain information through standard server log files and analytics tools when you visit the Site. This may include your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), approximate geographic location (such as country or region), device type, referring/exit pages, date and time stamps, and the pages you view. This information is not, on its own, linked to your identity, and is used to analyze traffic trends, understand which pages and categories of coloring pages perform well, administer the Site, and improve our content and layout.

c. Cookies and Similar Technologies

DoodleHive currently uses cookies and similar tracking technologies for the following purpose:

  • Analytics cookies — to understand which country or region visitors are browsing from and which pages perform best, so that we can improve the Site’s content and decide how to run advertising on the Site in the future.

DoodleHive does not currently use any advertising cookies, and no third-party advertising vendor places cookies on the Site at this time. See Section 4 (“Advertising and Third-Party Vendors”) for our forward-looking disclosure on advertising.

You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, some portions of the Site may not function properly. Most browsers let you review, manage, and delete cookies through their settings; consult your browser’s help resources for instructions specific to your browser.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and its content;
  • Understand how visitors use the Site, including which coloring-page categories and pages are most popular;
  • Respond to inquiries submitted through our Contact page;
  • Display and improve the performance of advertising on the Site; and
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity, and protect the security of the Site.

We do not use the information we collect to send newsletters, marketing emails, or promotional communications, as we do not currently operate any such program.

4. Advertising and Third-Party Vendors

DoodleHive does not currently display any third-party advertisements on the Site, and no advertising vendor (including Google AdSense) is currently active on the Site.

If we begin displaying advertising in the future — for example, through Google AdSense — we will update this Privacy Policy before or at the time advertising begins. That update will describe the specific advertising vendor(s) involved, the cookies they use, how they may serve ads based on a visitor’s prior visits to this Site and other websites, and the choices available to visitors for controlling personalized advertising, which are generally expected to include:

  • Google Ads Settings — https://adssettings.google.com/
  • Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out — https://www.aboutads.info/
  • European users — https://www.youronlinechoices.eu/

Because DoodleHive’s content is designed to appeal to a mixed audience that includes children, and the Site has no login, account system, or age-verification mechanism, any advertising we introduce in the future will be configured with that mixed audience in mind — favoring a less-personalized or contextual approach rather than aggressive behavioral targeting. We encourage visitors to check back here for the most current information on advertising practices.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • With service providers who help us operate the Site, such as our hosting provider and Google (for analytics and advertising services), who process information on our behalf;
  • If required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; or
  • To protect the rights, property, or safety of DoodleHive, our visitors, or others.

6. International Visitors and Data Transfers

DoodleHive operates from India and serves visitors worldwide, including in the United States, Canada, the European Union, the United Kingdom, countries across the Middle East, Australia, Japan, China, and India. Because we use service providers such as Google, information collected through the Site may be processed, stored, or transferred to countries other than your own, including the United States, which may have data protection laws that differ from those of your home country. By using the Site, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in such countries.

7. Your Privacy Rights

a. Visitors in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom (GDPR)

If you are located in the EEA or UK, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request erasure of your data; restrict or object to certain processing; and request portability of your data. Because the only personal data we knowingly hold is information voluntarily submitted through our Contact page (plus data processed by Google on our behalf via cookies), most requests can be resolved simply by contacting us. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe your rights have been violated.

b. California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know what personal information we collect and how it is used; request deletion of your personal information; correct inaccurate personal information; and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. DoodleHive does not sell personal information.

DoodleHive does not currently display advertising and does not currently “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. If we introduce advertising in the future that involves such sharing, we will update this Policy and provide an opt-out mechanism at that time (see Section 4).

c. All Other Visitors

Regardless of your location, you may contact us at any time to ask what information (if any) we hold about you arising from a Contact-page submission, and to request that it be corrected or deleted.

To exercise any of the rights above, please contact us using the details in Section 11. We will respond to verifiable requests within a reasonable time and, where applicable law sets a specific deadline (such as one month under GDPR), within that timeframe.

8. Children’s Privacy

DoodleHive’s content — free printable coloring pages, alphabets, numbers, and craft activities — is designed to appeal to children, and we know that children use the Site, often together with a parent or teacher, or with a parent’s or teacher’s permission. At the same time, the Site is also intended for parents, teachers, and general adult visitors in their own right, and we do not direct the Site exclusively at children under 13.

We do not require any visitor, including children, to create an account or submit personal information to browse, download, or print coloring pages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through any means other than the voluntary Contact form, and we do not knowingly permit children to submit information through that form without a parent’s or teacher’s involvement. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information promptly.

DoodleHive does not currently display any advertising on the Site (see Section 4). If we introduce advertising in the future, because the Site cannot verify the age of individual visitors, we will not be able to guarantee that advertising shown to any specific visitor is limited to non-personalized ads; we intend to mitigate this by favoring a less-personalized, contextual approach rather than aggressive behavioral targeting.

Parents and teachers who supervise children’s use of the Site remain the best safeguard, and we encourage ongoing parental and teacher involvement, guidance, and monitoring of children’s internet use generally.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address it.

9. Data Retention

We retain information submitted through our Contact form only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the inquiry and for a limited period afterward for record-keeping purposes, after which it is deleted. Automatically collected analytics data is retained in accordance with the retention settings of the analytics and advertising tools we use (currently Google’s services), and is not manually retained by us beyond that.

10. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information submitted to us, but no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of any information you transmit to us.

11. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is not yet an accepted industry standard for how to respond to DNT signals, the Site does not currently respond differently to browsers with DNT enabled.

12. Links to Other Websites

The Site may contain links to third-party websites (for example, product listings on Amazon) that are not operated by us. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites, and we encourage you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this page periodically for the latest information about our privacy practices.

14. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or wish to exercise any of the rights described above, please contact us
